One Boston
The Boston marathon finish line now represents the beginning of a long road to recovery for those impacted by the tragic attacks of April 2013. As we began the healing process, memorials sprung up around Boylston Street and Copley Square. Supporters of many ages and origins have left notes, cards, flowers, and paper cranes in honor of those lost or healing. Messages of hope, prayers, poems, and drawings represent a powerful collage: a tribute to our collective strength. The City of Boston will be preserving these important messages; what follows in this digital archive represents a small collection.
